Review Tim Cullen has enjoyed great success over the past half a century trying to creatively solve public policy challenges and is fearless in confronting those in politics that embrace the status quo. He's a skilled problem-solver and someone I consider a friend. --Tommy Thompson, Governor of Wisconsin 1987-2001, US Secretary of Health and Human Services 2001-2005I enjoyed working closely with Tim Cullen while governor. Tim has an enduring love for the state of Wisconsin. That, combined with his engaging Irish humor, created an atmosphere of camaraderie and things got done. Our entire state has benefited from his many years of legislative leadership. This book is a great contribution to understanding an important era in Wisconsin's political history. --Anthony Earl, Governor of Wisconsin 1982-1986A sign on a stable says: 'I have fast horses for fast riders, slow horses for slow riders, and for those who have never ridden, we have horses that have never been ridden.' Tim's book tells what happens when those who have never ridden get on. --Bill Kraus, Chair of Common Cause in Wisconsin, former Republican who was an insider with Governor Warren Knowles and Governor Lee Dreyfus Read more About the Author Tim Cullen was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin.
